The People

At Wimberley Recording Studio we have over 60 years of combined experience in recording in about as many different environments as there are. From analog, back in the day, to the latest digital gear we’ve seen it, turned the knobs, cut the tape, and recorded on it. And with all that experience, we’ve come to one conclusion…put a great mic, well positioned, through a great preamp in front a great performance and you will most often get a great recording.

Our job at that point is to make that performance sound as good as it can without putting any additional thumbprint on it. We want to make sure you have a comfortable, relaxed, creative environment so that you can let your music flow effortlessly into the recorder. And although the gear we use today is mostly digital, we still strive found that analog tone and feel.
